Michael Mansfeld – Architect and Urban Planner

Born : 1948, Haifa, Israel.

Academic degree : 1969-75   Authorized for Architecture and Urban
                           planning, Haifa Technion.

                           B.A. – Graduated in excellence.

Professional experience : 1972   Began work at Mansfeld architect firm.

                1980   Made partner at A. Mansfeld,
                           M. Mansfekd, H. Kehat, Y. Mansfeld Architects.

                2000   Partner at Mansfeld – Kehat Architects.

Teaching experience : 1981-1990   Taught and advised Planning
                          Studios and Building Detail courses as a faculty
                          member of the Technion, Haifa.

Membership in scientific and professional associations :

                1975   Member of the engineer and architects association of
                           Israel. Architects and urban planners association.

1980   Member of the association of Israel self employed
           architects.

1985   Elected member of the Architects bureau committee.

1999   Elected member of the Architects organization
           committee.

2004   Elected chairman of the Architects organization
           committee in Haifa and northen Israel.

Prizes :    1992   First prize in closed competition for the Yitzhak Rabin,
                           faculty of social sciences, Haifa University.

1995   First prize in closed competition for "Yavne"
           Highschool and Talmudic highschool, Ramat alon,
           Haifa.

1999   The cities of Haifa, efrayim Lifshitz Award, for the
           design and planning of the social Sciences Building in
           Haifa University.

2004   First prize in closed competition for the Student Union
           Building, Haifa Technion.
